JW®1698 is a linear solution used in universal input (110VAC/220VAC) voltage range. It can make the 2 LED strings series or parallel according to the bus voltage detection, which helps to realize the same power and output current in both low input voltage and high input voltage application.

JW1698 is integrated with 500V MOSFET and output current is set by external resistor, between 5~60mA. Patented current control strategy ensures high output current accuracy. Few external components decrease the BOM cost.

Specially designed current sensing techniques help to satisfy output current or input power compensation easily.

JW1698 provides over temperature protection. When temperature inside chip exceeds 150℃, JW1698 deceases LED current, which can help chip cooling.
